Although some people dislike the thought of mixing terror with humour, it makes sense if it's handled properly.

'Freaky' is attempting to achieve so.

Millie (Kathryn Newton) is a high school run-of-the-mill grad. Has mates, it performs good, but it doesn't stick out in every way. She also jokes that she'd be the first to suffer in terror. Oh, of course, that's going to happen, when the "Blissfield Butcher" (Vince Vaughn) stabs her. Instead of dying, the two exchange bodies (in what Director Christopher Landon considers Freaky Friday, he encounters Friday, the 13th). Millie, now played by Vince Vaughn, needs to persuade her peers to help him save the day when the Butcher is terrorizing everybody as a high school student.

Here, this isn't the next Halloween, but mixing humour and Terror is a roller coaster of emotion and one that teenagers will love to go on. In the interview above the two performers describe what it was like to portray two very different roles, what it was like to be in a horror movie, and what the scares are like.

'Freaky' will be released in theatres on November 13, 2020.
